Job Overview:

EzyTeams, is a US-based Talent Management firm, specializing in connecting local talent with clientele in the US. We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer/ Cost Estimator to join our team.
The role will be in the night shift and will require close working with US-based clients, preparing accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects, including single-family homes, multi-family units, and renovations.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation: Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.

Quantity Take-Offs: Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to perform quantity take-offs and create cost breakdowns.

Bid Preparation: Collaborate with architects, project managers, and subcontractors to gather information and prepare competitive bids.

Subcontractor Evaluation: Analyze subcontractor proposals to ensure compliance with project specifications and competitive pricing.

Proposal Submission: Prepare and submit comprehensive bid packages within deadlines.

Cost Monitoring: Track project costs and assist with budget management throughout the project lifecycle.

Market Trends: Stay informed about market trends, construction materials, and pricing strategies to maintain competitive estimates.

Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized records of estimates, revisions, and project correspondence.

Schedule Input: Provide input on project schedules and timelines as required.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 05 years of experience as a construction estimator, specifically with US residential projects.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Software Expertise: Proficiency in estimation tools such as PlanSwift, RSMeans, Buildertrend, and AutoCAD.

US Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of US residential construction methods, materials, and local building codes.

Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.

Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Organizational Skills: Outstanding attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

Project Management Principles: Familiarity with project management principles and practices in the US market is a plus.
