About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal with strong communication skills, solid U.S. legal experience, and a proven background in administrative support. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in managing case files, preparing legal documents, conducting research, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the legal department.

 

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and format legal documents such as contracts, agreements, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence.

Conduct legal research, summarize findings, and provide case-related support to attorneys.

Manage and organize case files, calendars, deadlines, and documentation.

Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, courts, and external stakeholders.

Assist in preparing case summaries, evidence files, discovery materials, and trial binders.

Perform administrative duties including scheduling meetings, managing legal records, and handling confidential information.

File documents with courts and government agencies following U.S. legal standards and procedures.

Support attorneys in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.

Maintain accurate databases, tracking systems, and logs for legal matters and compliance.

 

Required Qualifications

2–5+ years of U.S. paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proven administrative experience supporting attorneys or legal teams.

Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and MS Office Suite.

Familiarity with U.S. legal terminology, procedures, and court filing systems (state and/or federal).

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program.

Experience in litigation, corporate law, real estate, immigration, or other specialized practice areas.

Experience with legal case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, NetDocuments).

Bilingual communication skills (optional, depending on business needs).
