About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Joinery Estimator with expertise in high-end furniture quantities and pricing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for bespoke joinery and furniture projects, particularly within the US market. This is a remote role, but candidates must be able to work in the Miami time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for high-end joinery and furniture projects, including materials, labor, and production costs.

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to develop precise quantity take-offs and pricing.

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to ensure estimates align with design intent and budget constraints.

• Source and evaluate materials, finishes, and hardware for high-end furniture and joinery projects.

• Conduct value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and labor rates in the high-end furniture and joinery industry.

• Review and validate supplier and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.

• Prepare and present detailed estimates, proposals, and budgets to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

• 10+ years of post-graduate experience in joinery estimation, specifically for high-end furniture and bespoke joinery projects.

• Strong knowledge of furniture detailing, materials, finishes, and production processes.

• Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Excel, or similar).

• Experience working on US-based projects is mandatory.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Miami’s design and construction market.

• Experience with high-end residential or hospitality projects.

• Knowledge of sustainable materials and practices in furniture production.
