About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Cost Estimator with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for ezyteams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation for US-based projects, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. This is a night shift role with the flexibility of hybrid/remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for MEP systems, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project scope and requirements.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.

• Conduct risk analysis and provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs.

• Utilize industry-standard software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) to develop estimates.

• Review and validate vendor and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and labor rates in the US construction industry.

• Participate in pre-bid meetings, client presentations, and post-bid negotiations as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in MEP cost estimation, specifically for US-based projects.

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction methods, and industry standards.

• Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Accubid, or similar).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.

• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to hybrid/remote work arrangements.
