Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a law degree and possess a solid background in law, with a thorough understanding of U.S. legal principles and procedures. This role involves providing comprehensive support to attorneys in various legal tasks, ensuring effective case management and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in legal research, drafting documents, and preparing case materials.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using various databases to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Draft and format legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and discovery materials.
  • Organize and maintain case files, including filing and indexing documents.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather information and provide updates.
  • Prepare for depositions, and trials as needed, taking notes and providing necessary documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial briefs.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal procedures relevant to the practice area.
  • Support the attorneys in administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and maintaining calendars.


Qualifications:

  • Law degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. law and legal procedures.
  • Previous experience as a paralegal or in a legal support role preferred.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of specific areas of law relevant to our practice (e.g., corporate law, litigation, intellectual property).
  • Familiarity with case management software and document management systems.
  • Experience in client communication and management.
