Review vendor and subcontractor proposals for accuracy and scope compliance
Stay up to date with NEC, NFPA, and local building codes related to low voltage systems
Assist in value engineering and project budgeting efforts
Maintain organized documentation of estimates, assumptions, and correspondence
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience estimating low voltage cabling and systems, specifically within Division 27 and Division 28
Strong knowledge of low voltage system standards and installation methods (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC)
Experience with estimating and take-off software such as Accubid, Esticom, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or Excel-based tools
