Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator / Project Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for converting site visit notes, walkthrough photos, scopes of work, and measurements into clear, time-and-materials-based project estimates for customer approval.
In addition to estimating, this role involves administrative coordination such as scheduling, customer communication, and project tracking to ensure smooth workflow and a high standard of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Estimating Duties:

  • Review and interpret site visit photos, technician notes, scope, and measurements

  • Prepare time & materials estimates, including:

  • Technician hours for all phases (shopping, project execution, cleanup)

  • Materials list and associated costs

  • Create and send estimates using Jobber (CRM software)

  • Maintain accuracy and clarity in cost breakdowns and project timelines

Trade Knowledge Requirements:

  • Familiarity with core trades, including:

  • Plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry (rough and finish)

  • Tile setting, flooring installation, appliance installation/repair

  • Deck and fence construction/repair

  • Working knowledge of construction materials, tools, hardware, and equipment

Administrative Duties:

  • Interface with customers via phone, email, and CRM

  • Respond to inquiries, process incoming leads, and gather project details

  • Schedule site assessments (in-person or virtual)

  • Convert approved estimates into jobs and coordinate technician scheduling

  • Plan materials purchasing and delivery logistics

  • Schedule trash removal and equipment pickups as needed

  • Collect and organize digital jobsite photos from technicians

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in estimating, project coordination, or field work in the trades

  • Strong understanding of residential repair and light construction

  • Proficiency in job management or CRM tools (experience with Jobber is a plus)

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and stay detail-focused

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
