About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in Civil Engineering and specialized expertise in Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing engineering projects from concept to completion, with a strong emphasis on soil, geological, and environmental assessments.
This role is a critical part of our client’s operations, working across multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically sound and environmentally compliant infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage civil engineering projects with a geotechnical and environmental component, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met.
Oversee site investigations, soil sampling, and geotechnical testing programs.
Coordinate environmental impact assessments and regulatory compliance processes.
Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, drawings, and specifications.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Manage project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders across multiple projects.
Ensure all work is compliant with applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
Develop risk management strategies related to geotechnical and environmental factors.
Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and client presentations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required); Master’s Degree in Geotechnical or Environmental Engineering is an asset.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil engineering with a focus on geotechnical and environmental work.
