Role Overview

• Design and build client websites using Squarespace

• Tweak desktop and mobile layouts for responsiveness and visual consistency

• Implement custom CSS/HTML and advanced Squarespace features

• Create brand assets and graphics using Canva (or similar tools)

• Apply basic on-page SEO best practices (titles, meta descriptions, alt text)

• Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney) to create content and workflows

• Collaborate closely with the creative director and team on design strategy

• Incorporate feedback and revisions quickly and accurately

What are we looking for

• Strong Squarespace experience (non-negotiable)

• Solid understanding of design, branding, layout, and marketing principles

• Experience tweaking both desktop & mobile views

• Basic proficiency in HTML/CSS for custom styling

• Skilled in creating simple, effective graphics (Canva or similar)

• Familiarity with AI tools for content and design support

• Highly detail-oriented and committed to quality

• Excellent with deadlines and proactive about keeping things on track

• Available and responsive during agreed-upon working hours

• Not juggling too many clients—you have space to prioritize this role

• Takes direction well but also shows initiative when needed

• Communicates clearly and professionally

• Responsible, reliable, and committed to the work and our team

• Can provide references or examples of long-term working relationships

Bonus Points

• Experience designing for therapists, coaches, or creative professionals

• SEO experience

• Familiarity with project management tools (Trello, Honeybook)
