About the Role:

We’re seeking a Structural Engineer with a strong background in structural design, analysis, and documentation. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in U.S. building codes, able to work on diverse structural systems, and confident in collaborating with architects, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and detail structural components using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood

• Prepare construction drawings, structural plans, and calculation packages

• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.)

• Perform load calculations, lateral force analysis, and foundation design

• Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs

• Conduct site inspections and prepare structural assessment reports

• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers for coordinated deliverables

• Support construction administration and resolve on-site structural issues

• Participate in internal design reviews and quality assurance processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)

• 3+ years of experience in structural design and engineering

• Proficiency in design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam

• Solid understanding of U.S. building codes and standards

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

• PE license (preferred or in progress)

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with U.S.-based clients and codes

• Exposure to residential, commercial, or industrial project types

• Knowledge of sustainable building practices or LEED design is a plus
