About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Joinery Drafter with expertise in furniture detailing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating detailed technical drawings for high-end joinery and furniture projects, particularly within the US market. This is a remote role, but candidates must be able to work in the Miami time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings and shop drawings for high-end joinery and furniture projects.

• Collaborate with designers, estimators, and production teams to ensure drawings align with design intent and project requirements.

• Develop detailed plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details using CAD software.

• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, client specifications, and production requirements.

• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from clients, designers, and production teams.

• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.

• Assist in the development of material lists and production schedules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field.

• 10+ years of post-graduate experience in joinery drafting, specifically for high-end furniture and bespoke joinery projects.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).

• Strong knowledge of furniture detailing, joinery construction, and material specifications.

• Experience working on US-based projects is mandatory.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.

• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Miami’s design and construction market.

• Experience with high-end residential or hospitality projects.

• Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., Rhino, 3ds Max, or similar).
